Use yourID Card to prove you identity when you need to do so
Use yourID Card to prove you identity when you need to do so
YourID Card(s) can be used to prove your relationship with the University of the Aegean when accessing web services or in real life contexts:
Inside the UAegean campus, when for example you want to access an online University Service or when you have to enter the Library in person
Outside of the campus, in local stores and service points
In both cases you will be asked by a Service Provider to scan with your Yolocom SmarWallet a QR code to initiate the process:
Next, (possibly after an extra click) your Yolocom SmartWallet will be activated requesting you to authorize the disclosure of yourID Card | UAegean (the complete or the disposable version)
After authorizing the disclosure, a visual confirmation will be displayed on your device (from where you initiated the exchange) verifying that you are indeed member of the UAegean community (i.e., ERASMUS student currently affiliated with UAegean)
You can now access the service, if the Service Provider offers an online service. If the Service Provider is a physical location you requested to access, or a store, a service point, etc., an email with your core identity attributes (those of the complete or the disposable "UAegean myID Card") will be forwarded to the Service Provider to help them identify you in person.
