The UAegean myID Card consists of a Digital Verifiable Credential issued by a trusted service to your mobile device, via the Jolocom SmartWallet (freely available in the the Apple Store and the Google Play). This Credential contains your identity and academic attributes retrieved from the University of the Aegean (UAegean ERASMUS Application and Admission Service. Your device is the sole recipient of this card, no copy of it exists elsewhere. Additionally, the Credential is cryptographically linked to your mobile app so no one else can use it. You can then use this Credential to prove your details to other parties (Verifier Service Providers), inside and outside the UAegean campus, online and offline.
In order to issue and receive your UAegean ID card(s) you need to:
Be member of the University of the Aegean community (as part of an ERASMUS+ program or regularly)
Have registered through the UAegean Application and Admission Service (AAS service)
Download and install on your mobile phone the Jolocom SmartWallet: Apple Store | Google Play
Visit the UAegean Credential Provider Service (offered by the SEAL project). There:
You will be requested to pair your mobile device to the session by scanning a QR code
You will be asked to authenticate over eIDAS eID (by presenting an UAegean myIDAS-eID Credential), or provide an email address that you have registered with the University of the Aegean (and prove ownership over it)
You will be prompted to follow the few steps of a process that will deliver youreID Card | UAegean. If you consent, you will receive directly in your mobile device (Jolocom SmartWallet) two cards (twin card): a) the complete version of yourID Card | UAegean and, b) a disposable, minimalistic and anonymous Credential, that allows you to prove your current status (i.e., ERASMUS student currently affiliated with UAegean) and the duration of your affiliation period.

However, some points of the flow require your interaction with your mobile phone, which is the key that unlocks the next step of the issuance process
At the end of the process, yourIDcards | UAegean will be stored in your Jolocom SmartWallet
