Build using W3C Decentralized Identifiers and Verifiable Credentials
Our system is built in a way that guarantees Privacy by Design: the "UAegean myID Cards" are implemented as Verifiable Credentials and Disposable Proofs of Identity.
They are based on W3C Verifiable Credentials. This means that they are only store on your mobile device app and are only accessible by your device. Only you have the power to disclose them to a Verifier Party (an online or offline Service Provider) and the disclosure can only take place under your explicit consent.
